We love this particularly high quality board game with pull out drawers.  As soon as the first sample arrived through the door a friend who happened to be visiting was so impressed with it she snatched it up before we had even had the chance to fully evaluate it.  But it is now part of our range.

Originating in China over 2000 years ago it is a game with simple rules but has the potential for deep and complex strategies.

Game Overview:  The board is a simple grid layout and players take it in turns to place their stones on the intersections where they remain static unless they are captured.  The aim of the game is to claim more of the board than your opponant and lock in your opponents stones so they cannot move. The rules are basic but allow for an infinate number of variations making Go both exciting and diverse with appeal for older children and adults.
